Information literacy standards may have unique features depending upon the body that has created them, but the are similar in that they identify the skills needed to seek, evaluate, use, and interpret information. This guide provides links to the standards that are most applicable to Idahoans.
K12 Information Literacy Standards
Information and Communication Technology Standards for Idaho
The standards were developed collaboratively with involvement from the State Department of Education, Idaho Library Association, and the Idaho Commission for Libraries. Standards are broken out by grade level.
These standards are published by the American Association of School Librarians.
The International Society for Technology in Education Standards for Students 2016 include information literacy standards.
